Pest Control on Custom-X is different to the Pest Control on RuneScape, the Squire is not in danger. Your only goal is to defeat all 4 portals. In order to receive Pest Points you must complete the minigame (defeat all 4 portals)
Once you have enough points you can buy void gear by talking to the Void Knight who stands behind the bank. Prices are as listed:

- void top -1000 commendations
- void robe -1000 commendations
- void gloves -500 commendations
